Possible abuse of Delayed Magic rules?

Hi All,

Something came up as my players prepared their CA healer for a great disease-destroying ritual. One of the players wanted to loan AP to the healer ahead of time, and had an appropriate affinity to do this.

Loaning AP a day in advance using the duration rules is really hard unless you're a sorcerer--there's a +20 difficulty just to start.

But, looking at the Delayed Magic Rules (HW p. 234) there's just a +14 resistance to loaning the AP with the trigger of, say "goes off when the target falls below 6 AP." (If you insist on a "game world" description of the trigger, they could just say "when the target is in danger of becoming dazed."

So, for 6 LESS difficulty, you can give a character a magical blessing that lasts (essentially) forever, until it's needed.

Thoughts?

Mike
