Only for a permanant effect (ie, a bracelet that always "loans" AP when your AP drop below 6, or whatever). Also, remember that the effect *must* be tied to the Physical world in an amulet/bracelet/talisman/[other name for a small magical object]. Plus, the narrator is free to maliciously interpret the trigger condition - if a non-permanent delay object is set to trigger "when the wearer goes below 6 AP", it may trigger in an Extended contest that isn't the one expected - say, argueing with the clan council, instead of Healing Orlanth (or whatever).
