Greg also suggested the existence of minor quest challenges [Though I have no real idea how they work, I am just guessing]. I was planning to use these as a less risky/disruptive alternative for most challenges my players will meet at there current level of ability. I was going to use the Mystic strike failure table to determine how much skill the loser transfers to the victor. So this will be 1,2,4,8 points of skill depending of the level of victory. It would be easy to scale this table up for those who wish a greater challenge.
