One way, obviously, is to treat 2 of the players as "followers" and add their AP's to the "active" player, but this is probably not a "good" way to do it in most circumstances! - I think if you did adopt this approach you would need to get all three players to describe their actions and come up with a "joint" bid - otherwise the "followers" might as well go play "Magic" (or "Mythos") for the duration of the fight...

A better way might be to get the one of the characters to face the foe in a one on one contest, and allow the other players to take "unrelated" actions to aid their colleague (Loaning AP's, Augmenting him, negative augments on the foe). If the powerful foe is the Tribal Champion from some rival Clan or some such then this is not to bad - if it is a rogue Thunderbeast trampling through your Crops then this may make less sense. It may also depend on the characters. Honorable Humakti will wait their turn even against a powerful foe. Zorak Zorani will gang up on any foe that puts himself in a position where more than one of them can reach him

Or you can just write 4 lots of AP totals down and treat it as a "straightforward" extended contest. The single foe is at a penalty for facing multiple attackers, of course...
