My Worldscale conclusion so far

Dear group!

I started this thread and i found Ian Hammonds Coopers reply"Donīt be this guy"the best answer/solution to most of my questions/problems:
-An ability stands for itself(in a human scale).
-If you want to compare it with another race, you will have to adjust.
There will never be such a thing as a worldscale possible, thatīs because HW-mechanics arenīt "stephen hawkings worldformula". There are concepts/images on one side of the gamemechanic and probabilites/bumping mathematics on the other side, but they are not necessarily interchangable or capable of simulating anything in a simulationist way.
So while Gregīs message seemed a bit lame,at first, like he wanted to excuse something, itīs actually very much hitting the point.

Now there are some people here, who find this unplayable and i understand why.Still i find, that the gamesystem gives us enough help with the meaning of masteries.
My problem here is, that while nobody has any problems understanding with, what mastery one to four mean(trained/master/expert/legendary), itīs becoming very difficult beyond that.
The rule state, that:

10W4-is a lesser god/tribal spirit
10W6-is a small god
10W8-is a god

10W10-is a greater god

Now what is a god in comparison to a lesser god and what is the former in comparison to the latter, able to achieve ? I think we need definitions for these masterylevels.Maybe Greg would like to enlighten us about this one...!!!!!
Everything beyond human capability is difficult to imagine/make up. How strong is a 15m giant? Is that godlike or small-godlike ?And how much to add in comparison to a human(if needed). So my conclusion is:we need to know more about the definition of beyond-human capabilities and learn what differences in masteries mean,so we can easily improvise modifiers for contests that compare different races/species(like Wulf explained so nicely in one of his recent mails:one unopposed mastery never fumbles, two masteries never fail, etc.....also the question is, what do 8 masteries?Do they bump down their opponent after bumping the result to a critical?- that would be my image of being a god...).

Christian

P.S.: and Wulf, i apologize: of course "Gepard" is the german word for a "cheetah", i was a bit tired when i wrote that mail and confused it...:-P
