If an elephant's Large could have no impact on the story then it would not have/need a rating, conversely if it can have an impact on the story then the rating is a measure of the potential impact it might have. Large is always in the context of /what/ is large and how it is used may be subject to restrictions and/or modifiers as a consequence.

Some giants can specifically use Large as a substitute for other abilities, this does not mean that an elephant could necessarily do likewise, nor that a Large rock could use its Large in ways that an elephant can.
