Rereading the rules a bit more closely, it looks as though you're
right. One doesn't need to be a shaman to join the Jakaleel practice.
Which means my player could've started her hero as a Jakaleel
practioner. Damn.
Then again, she can always buy Open Spirit World at 13 for one Hero
Point...
