Correct.

For example, you belong to the bardan's book scholl (H!Q 172). When you use "Augment Sword Blow 17", "Give Soldier Courage 19", "Strengthen Armor 1W" and "Strengthen Shield 17", that's four seperate skills, thus can all be cast on the same "Sword and Shield Fighting" ability for a +8 augment.

But if you're casting out of the book (because you don't know the spells individually, or you don't have talismans for them), then you're using a single skill ("Read _The Army Book_ 4W"), so can only use it once for a +2 augment. Remember that you need the ability *and* the talisman to be able to cast a spell individually.
