More likely than you think from my experiences in play...

Case in point:

My game has a Vingan who's got an Orlanth Adventurous subcult. Both us Combat and Movement magics. They stack nicely but she wanted the  Wind magic.

We have a Yinkini/Odaylan.

We have a Humakti/Orlanthi for the usual reasons... (hey, I couldn't talk him out of it and so far its worked -- how many RQ folks had that combo in their games?).

And less hp expenditure in the long run. Its a case of creating synergy.

There's going to be a lot of subculting going on when Thunder Rebels hits the stores.

Some worship you just can't back out of. And yeah, players and narrators disagree on the severing aspect of humakt but as long as its not abusive, I don't really mind.
