a 15W affinity attempting a ^10 augment has the following chances

^20 - 7.25%
^10 - 54%
^0  - 2.25%
^-10 - 44%
^-20 - 2.5

Spending a Heropoint on the roll bumps the rollers level of success 1 place (so is the same as a 15W2 affinity)

^20 - 57.25%
^10 - 29.25%
^0 - 3.75 
^-10 - 9.5%
^-20 - .25%

Because of the strange "boundry effects" of having a score of 20 (making it impossible to fumble) the chances for an ^8 augment are higher, although the chance of getting the 2x score are reduced

Result        Without Heropoint          with Heropoint
^16                  3.75%                    4.75%
^8                  70%                      85.75% 
^0                   5%                       4.75% 
^-8                 21%                       4.75%
^-16                  .25%                    0% 

...And yes, having the whole fyrd with armour of ^20 is pretty tough!!
