Hmm, I dunno. Poison is an interesting case

The wyvern is in an extended contest, I would be tempted to rule this as a coup de grace - "the wyvern knocks Bjorn to the ground, the lethal sting dips, and he breathes his last".

IE getting the sting into action is itself a part of the extended contest simulated by the AP's. However, that only really makes sense if the poison is instantly lethal by description.

Another scenario which presents itself is a man in the bush encountering a snake. The snake bites the man, the man kills it but then dies of the poison before reaching help. Who won the contest? Was there even a contest? Any thoughts on rules for such delayed kills?
