But the opposite, division of abilities is fairly neat. If you (for example) halve your inappropriate Clever 13, it gives a target number of 6, the default starting number. ie no game balance problem. Clever 5W, gives a target of 12 which is slightly more useful. Clever 10W2, gives a target of 5W. This means someone with Play Ouranekki 10W2 vs someone who is merely extremely Clever 10W2 will win when they Play Ouranekki, but lower down the scale the resulting difference is less dramatic. Compare this with, say a -20 improv mod. Clever 10W2 is still Play Ouranekki 10W, and Clever 5W just cannot play the game any better than anyone else, even someone with no Mental abilities at all.
