Do you understand why people are raising this lone Lunar multiplier as an issue? It's as if (in RQ) you were using a POWxINT roll in a situation where everyone expected you to use POW+INT. It looks wildly out of kilter when compared to the rest of the system and mechanics.

What is it about Lunar Magic that requires an exponential rather than multiplicative increase in power within the Glowline and at the Full Moon? How are powerful Lunar narrator-characters' magical powers kept within reason and playability, compared to otherwise equally powerful non-Lunars? Do remember that any Lunar sufficiently powerful to be a concern is likely to know the Cult Secret giving him the boost we are all worried about. In "Hero Wars", you can't afford to let the system break down at the high end (as you arguably could do in RuneQuest).
