As Arkat discovered several ages back, when he ended up seeing the same episodes from different POVs.
Yelm and Orlanth, for example, have pretty much the same plot line for their interactions, just rather different explanations for what was going on. Orlanth slays the evil tyrant Yelm but then rescues him because it is better for the world, or Yelm is so powerful, even in death, that he forces Orlanth to come to him and acknowledge his supremacy.
