Of course there are, but 85% of Orlanthi society is made up of regular people who farm/herd/whatever and only pick up their weapons on fyrd practice day. For those people the prospect of taking on a Humakti in a fight is not an appealing one.

A full-time warrior who happens to worship one of the above would be in the small minority of Heortlings who would at least consider the option of taking on a Humakti in a duel.
Humakti are more single-minded about what they do than most warriors and are geared up for face-to-face combat. Trial by combat is pretty much perfectly designed to work in favour of the way Humakti fight and the way their magic works.
