Hey, I've seen Highlander, so I know that it still goes on :-). I had to fight long and hard to keep "Highlander" elements out of the Ars Magica _Lion of the North_ book once I had mentioned head-taking to Ken Cliffe...

As an aside, I saw, as recently as 1992, freshly-carved graffiti saying "Vivat Jacubus Rex" at the Glen Coe visitors center...
