Quite important point that. If you fight a neighbouring clan and meet an Orlanthi champion in combat, if he is a better fighter than you, he will defeat you and humiliate you and then boast about it and remind you of it at every tribal moot, but he won't kill unless there is very bad blood between you (or your luck runs out and you get killed even if it wasn't intended). Even if there is bad blood between you he will probably rather take you as prisoner than kill you.

If you meet a Humakti champion on the other hand, if he is a better fighter than you (very likely), he will simply kill you, as swiftly as possible. Humakti don't boast about their prowess and don't take prisoners. That's why they are serial killers.

Orlanth is a warrior god, but he is also Allfather, and fathers don't want to see their children die. Humakt is not a father and has no such qualms.

Orlanthi can have pity on the relatives of the killed, Humakti don't.

Etc.
