You obviously haven't heard of the Great Cornflake Massacre of the summer of 1613 when it took the local Lhankor Mhy sage of Arnhelm, a very clever bloke by all accounts, seven months to solve the murders.

It turned out to be two members of the lesser-known Atyar subcult of Humakt, the only two members thankfully (into deviant misapplied worship), who had killed one too many innocent Lunar soldiers and gone crazy-ape-bonkers-with-a-drill-and-set(tm). (: Gasciogne, the leader, called his sword Adrill :)

They led the warband a merry dance across the clan lands before being cornered in a chicken coop. The last words of the junior of the pair (named 'Set') were recorded as 'Take me away from all this death!' as he fell on his own sword.

Humakti leaders were quoted later as saying 'You can never have too much death, just look at what happened to these two fools!'

And don't call me Vyvyan!

Personally, I don't think the term "serial killer" is an appropriate one to
use for Humakti. Serial killers exist within the bounds of civilized society and pray upon their fellow citizens. I do not believe that this is
an accurate description of Humakti behaviour, even at the most extreme end. Wasn't there an extreme heroquest that required the Humakti to kill

even healers? Even then, they would not do so within their own clan or tribe, IMO.

I believe Thanatari would be better suited to the term "serial killers", if
one has to use it at all.

Just my 2-cents. Perhaps this point has been made already...if so, I apologize. The thread has become so long and convoluted...

Howard
