There's two versions of Lankhor Mhy's (braving the spelling) runes in the RQ sense. One gives him law (a strange western rune), but the more sensible one gives him truth and _stability_. Stability being the rune of the Mostali I think they may think he should be in their camp, and are upset that he isn't. Or rather, he is distributing knowledge where it's not supposed to be (to the humans)
