The GRoY was composed a hundred and fifty years before the Sunstop and thinks Yelm was Illuminated as a result of his experience in Hell (i.e. the Great Darkness). Exactly when the Sun rose is something I'm not going to discuss on this forum but I note Orlanth is Dead contains an interesting passage on the topic.
