I symphathize with those who don't want to discuss this topic much,
but, since I've very recently been accused of pro-Lunar biases where
I "prettify" the Evil Empire, let me note that our Lunar PCs have
- Been allied (via trickery and desperation and an unwilling
connection from a previous campaign to Ralzakark) with broos
defending a Temple of the Reaching Moon, where the broos sacrificed a
small baby to summon a Demon. Since the loss of the Temple would
result in the loss of most of the southern provinces, the PCs were
basically o.k. with this (though nobody is boasting for sure!)
- Done a pseudo Seven Mothers quest where we purchased an orphan
for the role of Teelo Noori. Now, in this case, we glossed over her
fate, since it didn't matter for the result and we didn't know what
her fate should be, and we were squeamish.
I don't want to start up a flame war, but sounds like some of you
are "prettifying" the violent, emotional Heortlings...
As for abortion, seems to me it would depend on what Orlanth teaches
about when the spirit joins the body.
