Hey Bryan---
This is Melanie, writing on Jeff's account (too lazy to do a new signin). Just FYI, those songs were from Nick Brooke, the tall dark handsome fellow standing between me and Ken. I'm sure Mark could write some nifty tunes about russian mafia (ala the Godfather theme), but to my knowledge, he didn't contribute any for this con.
And yes, the songs were quite cool-- one of my favorite parts of the convention. I didn't know most of the Queen/Bowie stuff, but I can go "marching through Sartar" with the best of 'em. (or fake it, at any rate). Lots of good fun.
Next time we'll procure a guitar for Uncle Ken and *really* get down to business! Maybe I'll bring my keyboard. Now what would be a good name for a Gloranthan garage band???
