Hi,

Are Esvulari (Aeolians, Southern Malkionized Heortlings) upset by kinstrife ? Is that a crime truly 'cosmic', as it is for the Sartar Heortling ?

IMC, the High King of Heortland killed his little brother in a 'dispute', quite unwillingly. And I admit Pendragon inspiration here : the King is the Kingdom, so things won't be good. And if the High King's 'clan' is the entire Kingdom... well let me say Orlanth isn't pleased.
As I have a PC quite 'traditional, orlanthi, old school' in this kind of matter, I wonder what he'd do in the presence of the king if (when) he knew.

Another, distantly related question : when a scorpionman queen eats someone, she's able to bring him back to life as a scorpionman, right ? Do you think there is a way to save the soul of the original person ? Is killing the scorpionman and doing some ritual (chalanna arroy, maybe) enough ?

Or is the soul already saved by Orlanth/Ernalda and what animates the scorpionman just a shadow of the former self ? After all, Thunder Rebels claims Orlanth and Ernalda will try and save the soul of their initiates.

My game may rapidly deal with Saint Elmal communauty near the Print of Larnste and I want a scene with some dead and a future confrontation between an Esvulari Sheriff (or Earl) and his former brother, coming back as a mighty scorpion warrior.... And I wondered : is any redemption possible ?
