No, that cant be right, just like a human corpse, you eat some straight away, and bury some bits to ripen up until they are ready to eat! And Gbaji is nearly ripe.

And as for great KL not being able to undo the magic of Gbaji... she is still brewing up a cure, and just has to wait for the staff of Gbaji to get ripe (and some Uz hero to bring her the severed nuts of Arroin!)
