Just so long as it's not been Mick Jaggered, don't mind. Never met Keith meself. Strange thing the internet, not having a visual image of someone.

Yes, I think I was maybe OTT there, I think I was just a bit disappointed in a way, as it could have been a lot better. As I was finishing my post, I reconsidered a little, but sent it anyway. So, I too found some things out. Woad being astringent I didn't know about and even commented on to my cohabitees. And some of the stuff on how the different troops were used was interesting (beserkers marching along in orderly fashion was down to limitations with graphics I suppose, but I did have a genuine problem with them all being bottle blond).

I think the main thing was that the tactics of the bods off the street just made the actual battle a bit farcical. I think allowing them a bit more time pre-programme to teach something about the Roman troops at least, so they don't set up a WWI "front". After all, what Roman general ever operated with no basic understanding of tactics. Then it could have been a bit of a closer fight.

Well, as I said, I have high hopes of a team of headhunters.

Wasn't that bloke awful (IMNSHO)? Yadda yadda yadda. Poor woman next to him formulating some ideas but she can't get a word in edgeways. ("Military genius" though?) Maybe they should do Caligula's "invasion" of Britain. Now that *would* be interesting.

Stripping half-naked and painting yourself blue suddenly starts to make sense. My cultural roots, after all.

Cheers Stu.
