I've mentioned these a few times before, but Scott Baker's _Drink the Fire from the Flames_ and _Firedance_ are very Gloranthan in feel. There is conflict between animism, theism, and something like sorcery. There is a ritual where the king "dies" for a day and natural law is literally set aside. Enemies of the kingdom make great use of disrupting this ritual, too -- showing how you can use religion against its practitioners. There are a couple of heroquests, neat ideas on ghosts, nice looking religions with some sinister undercurrents, some great stuff to steal for Humakti, and a very scary depiction of the Earth Mother. The books are kind of bleak in outlook, but still worth reading.
