Some people have propably already plucked this movie here, but I just have to say it took me compleatly by surprise.
I expected some simple enertainment, with the usual painful hollywood clish�'s. I was wrong.
The movie is brilliant, and even Tom Cruise doesn't manage to rub me the wrong way. No culturally inapropriate hollywood romances and everybody actually speaks japaniese.
For a fantasy RPG enthusiast I think the movie is more evocative than the Lord of the Rings movies. Go see how that 2-h Sword 10w3 hero of yours really fights!
