If it helps, Delecti is the name of "The Necromancer". "Delecti The Necromancer".

I know it's a small thing, but it's a start, no? :)

Possibly your best trick for an immediate start is to pick out whichever areas/cultures seem interesting to you in the HeroQuest rulebook and ask specifically about them. I'm sure someone can come up with a dummies' guide.
