I've always had a weakness for flame red. And I've hung with enough people with a fetish for dye to like highly unrealistic colours of red, too.
And I'd just be very nice to the Vingans, explaining that we're only here to help. We are all us.
(Or, as Obelix might say, "Ils sont fou, ces Lunars".)
