Two Cheers for the Textbook Examples

The individual episodes, especially those about Jane and the Origami magic, are quite goofy.

But look at the build up to the tragic heroquest and its punishing results.

I thought that the description of the ceremony of the league and their response to the bloodied heroes to be quite evocative.

It's the story arc, not the individual goofy episodes, that counts. And its a damn good one.
