1622 might be better, then. In 1621 Fazzur's in Nochet with Hendira. In 1622 there's a coup, her lands get wrecked, and Fazzur gets relieved of command.

"Fazzur listened politely to the herald who had brought the news and
said, 'If I would live for a week among twelve good friends, than I will
not spend another day among politicians.' He gave the news to his
command, some of whom went with him, and he retired to his family lands
in Tarsh. There he delighted in raising horses and reading, and spkle
long into the night with younger military men of his close kin."

You do need to be a bit of a fanatic to make best use of it. You need to realise, for instance, that the section I'm quoting was written by a Gloranthan author who was biased in Fazzur's favour. But it's great fun, and still available as far as I know.
