Let me just add a couple of points here. First off, the Digest exists for the reason of "discussing Glorantha" and nothing more nor less. Discussions need not be "remarkably esoteric" to occur there, although "esoteric" is not "off topic". The Digest means never having to apologise for your simple question about attitudes on homosexuality provoking a thread that delves into "excrutiating detail". <grin>
Secondly, Jeff is quite right. The current discussions are *NOW* not newbie-friendly, and so should move from the place that has pretentions to be newbie-friendly. They didn't start that way, fair enough, but that's why Jeff didn't stop them straight away.
