...And logically, as leader of the bodyguard he wouldn't also be
able to devote the necessary time to being tribal king. The Telmori
Bodyguard are, I presume, mostly young telmori who have temporarily
left the pack to earn a name/wealth/status and learn more about the
outside world. There leader will have to be someone the Telmori
King can trust to keep the pack in line, of course, and not
challenge the King. Maybe Goram is a son, or brother of Kostajor
Wolf Champion?

Yes, I spotted it quite recently, but don't recall where - Barbarian Adventures, I suspect.
