In a similar cituation (with the Prax Yelmalians) I wrote a primer for them that was the sermon of a high priest in sacred time.
The sermon delt with mythology, history and morality. The sort of things a village priest would have talked about in the olden days parhaps.
That went down very well. All had read the stuff before the game and needed no prompting to get the feel of the culture.
