Five years, really - the Pharaoh disappears sometime in 1616 (common guess is during Earth Season, in the Year King rites), and Whitewall falls in 1621.

Heortland is under Lunar control - about as much as Sartar has been since 1602. Esrolia has Lunar troops (mostly Lunar allies and mercenaries in Lunar pay) helping the Red Earth Faction from 1620 to 1624, with varied levels of success.

Many of the Pharaonics will by city folk spread all over Kethaela. They're still around.
