One stage further than me then. I got as far as thinking "Maybe I
should get a copy then" - It will be some time before I get round to
having a copy to leave on the shelf... (earlier this year I was in a
PC Game shop to buy some presents - the disks I wanted where in a "3
for 20 quid" (or similar) promotion, and I only wanted 2, so I also
picked up a copy of Doom 1-3 which was in the same deal. The
salesman was trying to persuade me to pre-order the latest "shoot-em-
up" game , but as I pointed out to him, it had taken me this long to
buy Doom, did he really think I was going to be keen for the
latest "new" game?)
