Exactly. I've never had to use that sort of thing myself, but I know it exists. And I'm sure anything that pretends to be an organised military unit will have it. What do you bet each "Thousand" has their own version?

That's the one. I've interepreted it in-game as being a lot like BSL, since I had a young friend practising her BSL on me and realised I could understand it (more or less) without lessons. Only the magical version is more so, of course.
