Trotsky has exactly voiced my problem with the "We recreated the Great Winter" answer. If that was the case, shouldn't (virtually) every other god die as well?

I can probably be talked into accepting her sleeping in Esrolia, though. I've never been certain where in her myth cycle she collects all these other husband protecters. So maybe even in those myths, she is married to Orlanth at the time of the great darkness, and so if you recreate it in terms of what happens to Orlanth, then she is still mythically bound to sleep.
