Hmm. I should probably be worried by this.

What you found was some very old theories, I'm afraid. Since then they've been mined, had large chunks thrown away, some very cool ideas added, and yes, a few bits and pieces here and there that might be recognisable in the Dragonrise when it appears. Maybe. BTW, the link from Patrik's site to mine is broken, and has been for years. The article in question is here: http://www.jane-williams.me.uk/glorantha/kallyr/dragon.cfm

But again, I know for certain that new, better, plot has been created since then. Have fun reading, but don't base any solid theories on that little lot.

Then I'd suggest looking in Gathering Thunder to start with. Page 63.

KoS is the other source, but there's only a few snippets.

He's listed in Kallyr's Companions
"Scout: Orlaront Dragonfriend of the Jerending" Though as yet we have no real idea when this list dates from - post 1625 seems likely.

And he's in Argrath's Companions: "Dragon: Orlaront Dragonfriend."

Minaryth Blue's "events of my life": "1625 - Orlaront raises a dragon, King Blackmoor is destroyed, clay/harmony/ earth."

The Saga: "He conspired with Orlaront Dragonman, the son of Ingolf, and with the Purple Seer, and they awakened a tremendous dragon..."

I expect a lot more about Orlaront will come out in the Dragonrise.
