For a female character something based around Earth mythology might be possible. Perhaps Ernalda being awakened from her sleep ? Or there might be a useful myth about Voria if you're really lucky.

As written the scenario includes the remains of Mykka's body. If those weren't found you could have something else happen to her body. Since her soul was ripped out while she was still alive it is possible that her body still survives, somehow, which might make things easier (and fit the "awakwning" myths better).
