Hmm, it *does* have echoes of the Yinkin legend (ST 182) - Yinkin finds the "Frozen man" and licks him back to life, delighted to find that it's his brother Orlanth, who then goes on to the rest of the LBQ.

The heroes who actually use their blood to free Kallyr would be "Yinkin"; Kallyr would be "Orlanth".

Orlanth feeds Yinkin "his last Rations" which strengthen Y. (just as Voria strengthens the Heroes). Parallells are there, though somewhat strained. Kallyr using a Yinkini version of the LBQ is interesting (to say the least), though. (In the LBQ in King of Sarta, Yinkin is among the dead when Orlanth reaches the Hall of the Dead).
