Hmmm.. according to BabelFish, it means something like "The user of the address which had become appointment was not found."

My guess would be someone has a misconfigured "vacation" rule that is replying to the list. I get the digest version so I don't usually see them (maybe there's something in the digesting process that can detect and remove them?).
