A random thought upon waking - oh for hypnagogia on call!)

Wind towers (windmills) sing. Whispers for children, Shrieks and warnings for intruders, and wondrous songs of joy and power and celebration for the initiated. Richly decorated, wind towers colour the wind and give it voice. They are often found in rows of four or seven. During special ceremony, the godar may invite a wind to play amidst the sacred towers.

The hills of Largertarn
Midst the storms of Ohorlanth
Are two silver horns,
Two breasts childing,
Two steads of lightning.

Midst the gales of Valind
They are two rusted swords,
Twin waves of darkness,
Twin pillars of ice.
