Indeed. I think it was Humakt's way of saying "Dark the raven's wing, that shades the brow of Salinarg", or some such. Basically, a warning that the shadow of death was over Sartar (as it was, with the Lunar empire gearing up for war, and the spiritual/mythical assaults well on their way, it seems.

I agree. The banner is a _powerful_ relic of the EWF, and in my game one of the centerpieces of a powerful EWF era Humakti tradition.

The statistics are needed though, when the opposing side has magic in the same league. For instance when the Lunars are storming Boldhome, and the defenders have a champion of the Houselhold of Death carries the banner to battle, I'm going to have to have some figures.

I'm sure the banners magic will ensure victory, though it can be of phyrric proportions, unless really strong magic is present to counter / dispell the power of the banner.

So I basically need to know in what league the banners dweomer is. And incidentally in what league is the Crimson Emperor's sorcery (as the Sartarites see it) when he's fighting abroad.

Modest, aren't I. Not asking for much :)
