There's also a two page write-up of the cult of Geo in Different Worlds #1. E-mail me if you want more details, but here are some of the highlights:

The organisation is a minor cult or organisation: perhaps in HW terms even a hero band. It runs inns in the following locations (in order of founding):

Geo's Ridge Inn - just south of Jonstown: the oldest
Geo's at Wilmschurch
Geo's at Swenstown
Geo's at Jonstown
Geo's at Boldhome
Geo's Always Open Inn (location ??)
Geo's Last Stop Inn (location ??)
Geo's Creek Inn
Geo's at Runegate
Geo's Cave Inn (location ??)
Geo's Duck Inn (presumably at Duckpoint)
Geo's River Inn (near Dragon's Eye)
Geo's Horsing Around Inn (at Queens Post)
Geo's Shaker Inn
Geo's at Alda-chur
Geo's at Alone
Geo's Outer Inn (location??)
Geo's at Pavis
Geo's Hideaway Inn (location ?????)

Plus inns in the Holy Country and Tarsh (although possibly not Lunar Tarsh, at least any more)

Members must be citizens of Sartar, or friends of citizens. They are guaranteed food, drink and a bed for the night, free of charge, at any inn. The rules of hospitality (no fighting, etc) also apply, of course. In return, members who become successful or wealthy are expected to support the cult through donations; Geo's inns also accept non-member paying guests. Staff at inns are usually old, retired or injured members.

Members are given a distinguishing mark (a brand on their right little finger). When meeting a fellow member, they are expected to share a drink with that person as soon as possible (even if only a sip of water).

Members do not gain any magical benefits or feats from the cult, except in the sense that they may meet and befriend a fellow-member who can help them out. In effect, the cult is a support network for those crazy fools who leave the comfort of their home and clan to go wandering all over the countryside in search of so-called adventure.

Geo's Bouncer is a grim, black leather-clad, hooded figure who drives an oxcart around Sartar loaded with tools of the executioner's trade. He only speaks to Geo members: as a member of the cult himself, he is required to share a drink with them (he normally offers blood drawn from his ox). Members who offend against the cult of Geo and refuse to repent may find themselves gaining first-hand experience of the Bouncer's execution equipment.

The Lunars are suspicious of Geo's cult because many of the people who join are the kind of characters who make trouble for the Empire. However, no action has been taken yet since, frankly, the Lunars prefer troublemakers to be sitting around in an inn, drinking, rather than lurking in the hills and raiding. it is also rumoured that they are afraid of the Bouncer.

(Judging from some of the other replies to the question, the version of Geo presented here may be different to that in other sources)
