If this discussion continues to focus on the appropriate HW rules (whether for character generation or combat), then it belongs on the HW-rules list.

I think the published Humakt writeups in HW:RiG and ST:CoS already cover the Gloranthan basics (Humakti initiates do get gifts & geases; there are other gifts & geases not on the standard list).

As a general rule of thumb, if you ever find yourself mentioning bids and APs on this list, you may well be in the wrong place.
