A Vrok is a type of hawk, sacred to some solars (introdiced in Cults of prax specifically as the Familiars for Yelmalian rune levels, it is in Anaxial's page 33).

Palangio the Iron Vrok was a Solar warlord during the time of the Nysalor project (Okay, General of the Armies of Dara Happa, and ambassador to the Council, but still just a warlord :-) ).

"Iron Vrok" is just a fancy, warlike title.
