Avarnia Myth, we have a problem

Oops, rereading Glorantha:IHW, page 123, Basekora (2 cults above Avarnia) it says that the horse riders destroyed the birds, and that it was Basekora who saved the people then. Now, it doesn't say that all the eggs were destroyed, that's one way the birds could come back, maybe Avarnia (along with Basekora, and earth goddess) hid the eggs there amid the earth's warmth as an incubator, and Avarnia then tried to mislead the horsemen as in the myth, but, at this point, the myth need serious work!
