I admit I did the same double-take (reading that Jonatings oppress Pelandans not Syanorans). Then I thought, wotthehell, maybe Morgan thinks some of the Arrolian Migrants went astray and ended up being oppressed by Jonating overlords. And why not, eh? It makes more room for plots, which is always a good thing.
(I also wondered if there was some kinda brainfart conflation between horribly oppressed Pelandans [Carmania] and horribly oppressed Syanorans [Jonatela], but that doesn't really matter since Morgan isn't paying any attention to what Hero Wars has to say about Malkioni sorcery in any case).
