Ahh. Thanks for this. Sound's like 'Sampo' shouldn't be quite at the top of my 'hunt down at all costs' list. :)

Well, it made the subtitles easier! :)

Several folk have kindly posted notes on the availability of Finnish books based on the Kalevala. Its probably worth mentioning that there are several translations of the Kalevala *itself* available in English, from the earnest but dull (Keith Bosley, OUP) to the less accurate but scintillating (W.F Kirby, Everyman & several others).
